Bringing Joy and Hope to the Community

First Baptist Church of Okemos is excited to introduce our Holiday Baskets program. As a pillar in the community, we believe in the power of compassion and kindness, especially during the holiday season. Our Holiday Baskets program is designed to bring joy and hope to those in need, and make a positive impact in our community.

What are Holiday Baskets?

Holiday Baskets are a cherished tradition at First Baptist Church of Okemos. They are carefully curated collections of food, clothing, and gifts that bring smiles to the faces of individuals and families who may be facing challenging circumstances during the holiday season. By providing these baskets, we aim to alleviate some of the financial burden and spread warmth and happiness throughout our community.

How Does it Work?

Our Holiday Baskets program operates through the generosity of our congregation and dedicated volunteers. Each year, we receive donations of non-perishable food items, toys, warm clothing, and other essential items from our community members. These donations are then thoughtfully organized and assembled into holiday baskets.

Once the baskets are ready, we partner with local organizations and community centers to identify individuals and families who would benefit the most from these holiday baskets. Our team of volunteers then distributes the baskets to these recipients, spreading the holiday spirit and bringing a glimmer of hope during challenging times.

How Can You Get Involved?
