Our Mission

At First Baptist Church of Okemos, our mission is to passionately follow Jesus Christ and make Him known to our community in Westland, MI. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals and families can grow in their faith, experience God's love, and serve one another.

Our Ministries

First Baptist Church of Okemos offers a variety of ministries to meet the spiritual needs of individuals, families, and different age groups:

Children's Ministry

Our Children's Ministry provides a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn about God's love through age-appropriate teaching, engaging activities, and meaningful relationships with dedicated volunteers.

Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry at First Baptist Church of Okemos creates an atmosphere for teenagers to grow in their faith, build friendships, and navigate the challenges they face in today's world. We offer relevant teaching, fun activities, retreats, and mission trips.

Adult Ministries

We offer a range of adult-focused ministries designed to encourage spiritual growth, foster healthy relationships, and provide opportunities for serving others. From small groups and Bible studies to men's and women's ministries, there are various ways for adults to connect and thrive.

Missions and Outreach

Our church is passionate about fulfilling the Great Commission by reaching out to our local community and beyond. We partner with local organizations, support missionaries, and actively engage in projects aimed at making a difference in the lives of others.

Music and Worship
